At his best, Sergio. The version who showed up for Chavez Jr. would get knocked out.

it would be a long night for Sergio.
remember he was in all kinds of trouble of Pavlik before opening that cut, and against Williams in their first fight...
he only got Williams in tbe rematch cause Williams carried his chin too high and was eager to get hit.

you take away those two wins and what does Sergio have on his record besides a couple of wins over overhyped Europen fighters?

he had to hang on for dear life against Chavez..
he got brutalized by an over the hill Cotto
and when he should have been in his prime he was battered from ring post to ring post by Antonio Margarito

Trinidadad was a murderous killer from 147 to 160. all but the very best crumbled under his power. he would mamhandle Sergio inside of 9 rounds and force a corner stoppage

Martinez was too cagey for Tito.

I'll take the Tito from the Vargas fight over Sergio from the first Williams fight.

154 Tito, Trinidad was wonderful at that weight. Martinez really bloomed at 160 though, so tentatively Sergio at 160. But if Felix got on track with that left hook.....

Wonderful matchup. Sergio had all of the tools to pull this off, especially the unorthodox attacks and lateral movement, but Tito had two great equalizers. I'd probably make Tito a slight favorite at 154 and a slight underdog at 160.

Tough one. If I had to choose, I would say Tito.
