Felix Trinidad vs Shane Mosley '05 @154 Lbs

Terrible fight for Mosley at Tito's most destructive weight. Maybe 8 rounds before Mosley is finished by a sickening left hook to the liver in a fight where Mosley is gradually worn down.

 

Tito’s 154 performances were in 2000 (and one in 1997), it was his best weight because he didn’t have to drain and he wasn’t undersized as he was at 160. He was devastating. Mosley would have given him a better fight at 147, but ultimately Tito would have won there. At 154, Mosley wasn’t nearly as affective and by the time he got there, he was no longer in his peak. He could get stopped. He’d probably get into something of a survival mode early after feeling Tito’s pressure and power.

 

Shane gets a terrible beating.

 

Cracking, borderline 50/50 fight at 147lbs. At 154lb, I favour Tito, peak for peak.

 

This guys a weirdo, why the **** would the fight take place in 05 when Trinidad had last fought at 154 back in 2000. Like I said before, Mosley is rubbish at 154, he's flat footed, slower with less power. Trinidad by knockout.
