Blocker was well past it by the time Tito got to him. Norris blew Blocker out in two before Tito did.

Yeah I can. Margarito had a pretty good chin and took a lot big shots, Paul Williams, Mosley, Cintron, Lewis, all good punchers.

When was he just flat out knocked out? He was stopped twice late in fights after taking a lot of punishment once on cuts.

Some people are vastly overating Brown, who was probably a couple notches below Cotto at his best.

I'm sure thats probably debatable but I'm not going to take time out to rewatch fights to dispute or agree with it because I don't particularly like watching either..especially Spinks.

But even if thats true..that doesn't necessarily mean he is better...I couldn't see Blocker losing to a K9 level fighter, even past prime..maybe thats a bit unfair on Spinks because he was really faded.
But I would be surprised if Judah was able to come even close to ****ing Blocker up that bad...I mean on his day he did have a deadly left but I'd put money on Maurice having to much for Zab more often than not.

Blocker was a 6'2" guy who fought much smaller. He was was easy to hit and not nearly as fast as Zab. I don't think Blocker would be able handle Zab in a shootout. Zab is too fast.

Pineda handled him just fine...Zab could barely get by him.

In fact he either barely or in most cases didn't even get past anyone decent he fought post Tszyu.

For christ sakes Sister he lost to Carlos Baldomir...Are we really having this conversation?

I don't think he's at whatever level you think I think he's at.

Anyway, my whole point is Cotto would've attained a similar/lesser level HAD HE BEEN IN BLOCKER'S ERA. The reason Cotto appears superior is because he fights in the weakest era in boxing history.

Pineda who'd had six years out.

    Baldomir the journeyman.

He lost to ****ing Amir Khan. More hittable than Blocker. Scratch that he got beat up by Khan

No Cotto wouldn't beat Blocker the way Tito or Terry did, he's just not that type of puncher those two were but he does beat him in 8 rounds though, I think it would look similar to Cotto's fight against Kelson Pinto.

    Okay I'm done here

If Oba Carr was able to stop Campas then I'm completely sure Cotto does as well, unless you Classic Enthusiast are gonna start elevating past gatekeepers over today's top fighters.

You can kick rocks with that weakest era BS. Look at who Blocker beat, and who Cotton beat and then ask yourself that.

A focused Judah beats Blocker. It's that simple

What about the Campas of the Tito fight? You've just elevated Kelson Pinto to Blocker's level you thick twat.

No it's not as he was rarely focused. That's like saying 'a knockout punching Paulie Malignaggi beats Floyd Mayweather' it's spurious bollocks.

Campas size, strength and good punch would cause problems for Cotto no doubt, but Cotto would have put enough work in to get a late stoppage.

He beat Starling, a better welter than anyone Cotto has faced, including Mosley. That's not up for debate, Starling pisses all over Cotto's best wins even though it was his last fight.
