Who would win this fight at Welterweight, Fifteen rounds? The Trinidad which just knocked out Campas. Against the Benitez which just Dethroned Palomino.

Benitez would make him look bad for 15 rounds. Benitez UD 15.

Trindad was a good fighter, but too one dimensional. I'd expect Bentez to take this one by a clear UD. 14-1 or 13-2.

Benitez would ride the waves and avoid the power en route to UD15.

Benitez had the tools to outbox Tito en route to a WIDE UD.

Probably even worse than Winky did (knock down credited for Benitez early in the fight).

Benitez was rarley in top condition and that's what you need to whip Tito. Tito had to tools to hurt Benitez, but I still say Benitez too slick for the welter Tito. Benitez W15

Looks like I'm the lone dissenter.

A lot of people forget that the early Tito didn't rely exclusively on his power; in fact, he was quite adept at jabbing his way in, and tracking down a mobile opponent ( witness his fight against a faded, but still skilled Camacho as proof). Since Benitez was never the most ardent of trainers, and since Trinidad generally came on the later portion of most of his fights, I think he finds a way to land his powershots late in the fight, and stops El Radar in the later rounds.

Benitez makes Tito look silly, whether it be 4 rounds or 45 rounds.
