Trinidad was a beast at welterweight, but he also struggled if you gave him lateral movement. Pacquiao would have to fight a very cautious fight, but i think his speed, footwork and herky jerky movement would cause Felix a lot of problems. If he could neutralise Trinidad's vicious left hook i think he could win it going away. He trades in long spells and it's good night. Trinidad KO'd bigger men. But no one as complete who would always make him think and never gass. Plus Pacquiao would always be drawing Trinidad's lead. You have to wait for Pacquiao not follow him around.

 

For now I'd give the edge to a prime Tito and that's only if he corralled and trapped Manny vs. the ropes like Bhops did to Oscar, but there's no doubt Tito would be getting outboxed at some point. But there's no doubt if they exchanged bombs and went toe to toe Tito by a bodyshot. I think Pacman is great, but 140 is where he should be at his best, not 147. It would be a close fight that's for sure.

 

Trinidad relied to a considerable degree on serious power.

And that power was never again demonstrated after Bernard's team forced him to change his method of hand-wrapping, a method his dad admitted he had used in all of his previous fights.

He was a big strong welterweight, but I always considered him less than stellar in the skills department. Oscar vividly exposed his limitations in that department.

At 147, Pac has a clearly better chin, better footwork, better hand-speed, more accuracy, very decent power and an overall better skillset.

I think Pac stops him.

The way Manny moves around Tito wouldn't be able to do **** with his stationary target but get hit.

Cotto wishes he could be half of what Trinidad was, Trinidad is a super version of Miguel Cotto and a lot bigger.

Trinidad had too much power, he hit harder than Mosley by a lot.

if tito had a sturdier chin, i'd give him this fight. but since he had a suspect ability to withstand a bombing, i'd say Pac by KO
