The way Verdejo positions his body for those counter shots is a thing of beauty. To his credit, at least he fought an opponent with 20+ wins. Hopefully that slow step up in quality of opposition continues.
I don't know why his team is looking for a shot at Salido in late 2015 when they aren't even ready to step in a ring with him. There's no reason to push Verdejo, yet they are still pushing it at a very fast pace.

I see what you say. But watch the video again and pay close attention to Verdejo's stance. He fought the first two rounds conventional style. Once he swathed to southpaw to start the 3rd round the difference was just too big.
