Yeah I've been considering doing a thread on him for awhile now, but never got around to it, I'm going to feel really stupid if he beats Verdejo and I missed my chance and building him up.:yep But I don't think he'll beat Verdejo. He'll put up a good fight though.

This is true, but it seems he is doing nothing but showcasing what he already has.
Although in this division, it's best for him to work on the outside, he has no pro variations in his defence and I am yet to see the true extent of his capabilities on the inside, and I'm unlikely to see it in the lightweight division. I've always had my doubts about a Verdejo who is taken outside of his most comfortable game. He's struck me as rather confused.

He is a very good fighter, absolutely zero doubt about that.

Won convincingly. But this fight showed there is room for improvement.

    Not impressed with Felix.

Guy would get knocked out by a decent fighter fighting like that. Throws too many unnecessary punches looking for the knockout.

Felix showed solid fundamentals yesterday against a game fighter in Silva (who should be trained by someone decent).

However, he is completely unwilling to get on the inside. What was the point of him learning at a snails pace if he's not even learning what he's meant to? He would have beaten William Silva on his debut.
