Why because He could not ko both guys He outclassed them by shutout, He is simply not a hard hitter as some one expect in Najera He was injured and Najera came to fight and in shape not like the horrible performance in the Saul fight that even Top Rank fire Him for not training and take boxing seriously .

Not sure how people could disappointed with Verdejo last night. He fought a game guy with good defense who Diamante only made more defensive once he hit him solid. After that Silva fought to survive. I think people are unfairly contrasting him Crawford who was able to get a KO because his opponent once again was highly offensive.

Guy was struggling just to hit both Najera and Silva. Neno KO'd Najera in 1 round. You can talk all kinds of ish about Najera training, but Verdejo couldn't even find Najera.

It wasn't a shut-out either. You must've not been watching the Silva fight for very long. Verdejo did win his rounds cleaner, but Silva landed a lot of body-shots that the scorers didn't even notice or acted like Silva wasn't landing anything at all. It was rather ridiculous. Verdejo did win the fight, but it wasn't a shut-out like HBO crew had it.
