Kid is special. Will be fun to see his quality of opposition go up. He is very young still.

    Agreed.

I think Verdejo is probably the best talent under 20 years old in all of boxing and if he fufills his potential then he could well be the P4P number 1 ten years from now....we will see.

To be honest, PR has a whole set of very talented fighters coming up now. Its just a matter of good promotion for these cats. I'm not giving up on Orlandito Del Valle either, hes a freaking beast IMO.... Unfortunately he shares a division with Rigo at 122. LMAO - damn....

Verdejo looked amazing. I missed the intros and didn't realise until afterwards that this was only his 5th fight and that he was only 19. What a talent!

He was a good amateur as well, he probably would've medalled in London if he didn't draw Lomachenko.

I don't think his opponent wanted to fight after the first knockdown.

He almost just let Verdejo unload on him after the resumption.

Probably should have just stayed down for a couple more seconds on the first knockdown.

Bring on Felix Verdejo Vs. José Pedraza at some point in the future when they've built names for themselves.
