thats what i was going to say in less callus words.

it isnt slur it's more of a cali drawl.

i wouldnt be surprised though he is taking far more shots than he should do in my opinion

Thats not true. I have been listening to this guy on local Southern California radio since the 90's. He actualy spoke very well, very articulate for a boxer.

Well to be fair he does have a cali drawl, but even given that, his speech patterns have slowed.

Shane should retire with all his health he has remaining.

He has made the Sport of Boxing "proud".

Yes, and a dominant win over Judah is a great way to call it a day.

He has money, also. At least I would think so.

I haven't noticed Shane's speech to be noticabley slurred. But unfortunately, comprehensive studies have shown that almost 90% of professional boxers suffer from some sort of brain damage. The damage doesn't have to be obvious and profound for it to be there. It can be a small portion of the brain that gets damaged, which doesn't even necessarily affect speech or memory, but rather appetite and mood etc. Sad reality of the sport.

But chronic brain injury's first sign is speech pattern. Its what got Terry Norris denied a license among others. If thats the case, I hope to see Shane ride off in to the sunset, he was a great champ.

I meet Shane Mosley at a barber shop in Clairmont Ca way back in 1994 when my brother was attending Pomona College, I was driving my brother back to school after Christmas break. Dude didnt speak well then. And I remember him telling us that he was 7-0 and that he was fighting that weekend and said we should come out and watch. so Im not sure that its because of boxing.
