That's right.Very rarely do I never finish a boxing book,but the fact I never with this tells you all you need to know about the book and it's author.
Comes off as smug and condescending, despite the fact that his own commentary on boxing usually lacked insight and was filled with blatant agendas and nuthugging. That wouldn't be so bad (lets face it, the vast majority of boxing commentators suck) if you didn't get the sense that he always thought he was the smartest guy in the room and that what he had to say was more important than what anyone else did. I hear he's supposed to be a good guy who does good charity work, which is great, but I'm not a fan of his work in the boxing world.
