agreed horrid commentary/ and holmes won the fight down the stetch but worse commentary was angelo dundee on holmes/witherspoon...just kissing spoons ass...IF YOU TURN OFF THE SOUND LARRY HOLMES EASILY BEAT TIM WITHERSPOON(ALTHOUGH HE HAD A SCARE IN THE 9TH RD)....EVERY BODY SAYS WITHERSPOON GOT ROBBED= HE DID NOT JUST HORRID COMMENTARY BY ANGELO DUNDEE...WATCH IT WITHOUT SOUND MAKES A WHOLE AMOUNT OF DIF...BY THE WAY I LUV WITHERSPOON AND SPEAK TO HIM ON FACEBOOK ALL THE TIME.
He had some good insights once in a while, and was a good interviewer of spanish speaking fighters. But mostly he was off base and annoying and got worse as he went along. I still prefer him to Gil Clancy or Cosell though, from that era.
I respect Pacheco as an avid admirer of the game with lots of experiences, but pretentious is the word that sums him up best. The controversial "Thrilla in Manilla" documentary shows a lot of his true colors. "Was Ali manipulated by the Nation of Islam? Of course he was. I've never seen anyone so manipulated in my life. Are you gonna keep asking me stupid questions like that? Because if you are I'll just leave. Of course he was manipulated." Just shut the **** up dude.
I remember when Pacheco and Czyz said that Vitali and Vlad would never become champions...................however, I still miss them...............
