Styles make fights. The guy who gets lit up in every fight doesn't stand a very good chance against McGregor.

At 170... Where he himself is slower and less effective - Diaz carrying more weight and thus having more durability. Ferguson has been rocked constantly against lesser fighters than McGregor.

    Tony's tough as nails

    He walked through Barboza's best

And once he got it the ground.... game over

Difference being McGregor is an accurate and powerful puncher who doesn't get guys off the hook when he hurts them. Alvarez is a lot like Ferguson in the sense that he's frequently hurt but recovers extremely well. Look what McGregor did to him... I see the fight unraveling similarly.

Barboza is an extremely dangerous striker

Alvarez just stood there like a starstruck idiot and let Conor tee off

Tony will bring constant pressure, and constant threat of unorthadox takedowns

A fantastic fight, and one that hopefully comes into fruition

With his feet not hands. That's the difference.

If Ferguson can somehow get the fight to the 3rd round then he has a shot. But that's hardly a given.

C'mon. Yes Conor has a big shot and hurting Ferg early and maybe putting him away but if it goes into the 3rd or beyond Ferguson will become a huge favourite to seal the win by stoppage.
