Sense alot of people are comparing these guys. Who do you think accomplishes more in there career? Considering Vargas was rushed so fast. I believe with ortiz's tight defense, good power, and determination to prove his family wrong about him the sky is the limit.
It's hard to tell now.Ortiz hasn't started to fight big threats yet and by his age Vargas was already a huge star and world champion.If Ortiz gets managed better he can be better than Vargas.He will have a tough fight tonight.
Ortiz is a mirror image of Fernando Vargas ... I don't think that Ortiz has the same skill set as Vargas does and by the time Vargas was 21 he had won a world title.
Vargas was a special talent that lack discipline and had a career filled with injuries ... he was the second world champion from the 96 olympic boxing team. (along with PBF) it took 15 fights and 2 yrs. Vargas knocks out Ortiz if they ever went head to head in their physical primes.
