Luques Palacios is putting together nice fluid combinations. 1-2-1, and 1-2-3 seem to be his favored sequences. Moyano is forced to cede ground, sprinkling in a few jabs or uppers where he can but spending most of his time hiding behind the high guard and clearing space for Luques Palacios, which plays right into the hands of the rangy young technician who sets up everything with a long stiff guard-splitting jab.

Luques Palacios is ducking and rolling under the Moyano jab, and lowering his elbows to catch some of his body hooks. Moyano is punching more with the intention of keeping Luques Palacios quiet than doling out any damage, running after every grazing or partially blocked shot. Luques Palacios is jabbing and smoothly dipping side to side on the way in, letting Moyano's head shots miss wide of the head. Almost every clean touch for Moyano is on the body and even those are mitigated by him fleeing the second he feels contact and not following up.

Luques Palacios is smothering himself a bit now, hurrying in too close and landing stunted right hands behind the jab on Moyano's chin as Moyano hammers down with his right forearm and hooks the left hand downstairs. Moyano is making it less a boxing match and more a barroom donnybrook, advantage Moyano. Luques Palacios gets in nice right hand just before the bell, however.

Luques Palacios is returning to form here, working at medium-long range with flowing straight combinations. 1-2-1 is on display with particular effectiveness. Moyano is bowling up a right hand and then dropping back into a crouch. Head clash, both warned. Luques Palacios is awkwardly trying his best to figure out how to push Moyano away when he rushes in with head bowed without putting him in a headlock or doing anything else to raise the ref's hackles. Moyano has gotten in Luques Palacios' head and made him very self-conscious about getting undue attention from the ref, even though Moyano is doing most of the dirty stuff. Luques Palacios timidly jabs at long range as Moyano threatens by darting halfway in but never fully dives inside.
