not really . he is only 24. plenty of time to continue to develo. this is far from the finished product. pirog is 30. must older and experienced.
Meant to vote for Pirog by stoppage. He's too big and too good for Guerrero. Guerrero doesn't impress me in the least.
Thats speculation. It could be what you see is what you get from Guerrero. He's not blessed with any special physical gifts, nor does he have world class power. What the hell is so special about him?
like i said he is only 24. he will continue to develop. he is pretty technically sound and has a good defense. may not be an overwhelming power puncher but you dont necessarily nee that to succeed.
His defense is nothing special. And at the elite level if you dont have worldclass power, you better have world class skills.... and Guerrero doesnt blow away in that department either. And stop sayin "he's only 24" in every post, you make it seem as if he's 19 or 20. At 24 he should be starting to come into his prime, and its DAMN SURE time for him to step up his shitty comp. I gurantee you he'll never be anything more than a Kassim Ouma level.... if THAT.
I'm watching Guerrero - Smith right now, and I don't see anything in Fernando that would suggest to me he could beat Pirog. He's fast, he's flashy, but he lacks quality overall. He has time to improve though.
we shall see. only time will tell. but for now he is a young budding prospect who has yet to lose. as he continues to step up in competition we will see what he is made of. and yes being only 24 is beneficial. he is further along than anre ward was at this stage. the reason i bring up the age is cause pirog is 30. and far more experienced
Remind me what Pirog has done exactly? He's beaten Jacobs, who seems to be unanimously despised on ESB for being a ''hypejob'', and that's it. He's being built up as some kind of monster based on a win against a fighter that nobody even rates highly. Dont get me wrong, he's clearly a fine fighter, and I have no doubt that at this stage he'd beat Guerrero, but I think the clamour around him needs to be toned down a bit, a lot in fact. I'm reserving judgement on his credentials at the very highest level until he fights somebody that's a proven fighter at world level.
