    I also did not say it implied Montiel is totally unskilled. That's why I asked him if he thinks Montiel has no boxing ability at all. Just a normal question;) But the baby immediately feels attacked and starts crying.

    Woah, what's this?

    He's lost only by SD and MD, to very good fighters in Gonzalez and Too Sharp (before his sharpness fully dulled)...and he's undefeated in four years.

    He has good wins over Hernandez, Gorres, Castillo, and Maldonado.

    The only perceived stumble is in his three strange rounds with Alejandro Valdez...but that was only three rounds, hardly enough to draw an inference from, and hardly a fall.

    It was an upset, but even Hozumi's mom knew that Fernando was always dangerous in this one. I consider Martinez over Pavlik to be a bigger upset.

    wow! montiel is the man. huge upset as hasegawa was well regarded at the weight where montiel seems to struggle. congrats!

    Did you see it? Hasegawa was outclassing Montiel and beating him to the punch basically right up until he got caught.
