The Argentinian gave a very good account of himself. He was able to use that superior boxing of his to nullify the often ineffective aggression of Guty in many rounds...but I guess he just didn't put enough of a stamp on enough rounds to get the nod abroad. :conf

Montiel puts his forearms up to catch an Angkotta double jab. Montiel pushes out his own double jab, then keeps using the four corner defense. All around the ring goes Montiel, floating weightlessly as though on a cushion of air. Forget KO-chulito, he's going by Twinkle-toes from now on if he keeps up this style. Angkotta is trying to press in on him, and is jerking his shoulders out to either side and moving his head while coming forward and jabbing low. Angkotta is looking strangely Tyson-like - except for being Indonesian and half his size. Montiel is landing some nice counter left hooks backing up, but few and far between.
