I suppose this fight could happen after the 118lb tournament. Who do you think takes this and how(if KO, what round)? And does anyone else find it odd that Montiel isn't in the tournament?
The Bobfather didnt want Montiel or Donaire anywhere near this tourny. As for this fight, I see Agbeko giving Montiel some trouble early on, but Montiel ends up stopping him around the 9th or 10th IMO! Would be a great fight :good
I think Montiel at some point breaks him and maybe stops him , its not odd what so ever that Montiel isnt in the tournament , Bob Arum will hold the answers to that , but the tournament is getting absolutley no exposure at the moment so maybe Bobby was right not to include Montiel , he's grooming Donaire for a superfight with Montiel within the next 12 months as well :good
Haha, for some reason I just didn't even think about Arum. Maybe he was right, but it would have been awesome to see him or Donaire in against Perez or Darchinyan (although I suspect Donaire would beat Darchinyan again). But if a big fight between Montiel and Donaire does happen, I won't complain.
On paper you would look at the line up and say WTF :huh where is Montiel !!! Then someone would say " Bob Arum " and that really is enough said ..........
