Fernando vargas got fat as hell

well, I was fat too, but he's got kids. science proves that once you have kids your testosterone slows down.

He never fought at 147. Always 154. Get it straight.

He did get big, but that's his right. Some people have the eating habits combined with the genetics to not stay lean if they don't train like crazy. It's ok. There's no doubting his heart and his accomplishments.

 

Vargas is in pretty good shape today actually. He got pretty fat a few years ago, but he's looking decent now.

 

Many Mexicans at 50, 60, or till they leave, stay skinny... It has more to do with genetics

 

shitty food dieting. Its not just him. All americans are fat and eat like ****.

 

Tbh fighters that put themselves out there so much and fought their heart out for the fans can get as fat as they want for all i care they earned it.
If it doesnt affect their health too much and they are happy let them eat and drink whatever the hell they want.

These people are gladiators that put their life on the line for our entertainment so when they are done i can understand they do not want to train anymore.

Obviously if someone gets so obese that its dangerous to their health id be very sad about it but a little chubby? **** if i care.

Im stuck in Holland where we are devoid of any good food (unless you can make it yourself) if i lived in Mexico id be all over those burritos, tacos and Corona's !

Hearing him talk and watching him fight right now just breaks my heart.
If he retired after Holyfield or Ruiz he could be fat and happy right now looking back at a glorious career with most of his marbels intact.

 

George Lopez isn't skinny but he's not fat either. Then there are actors Ricardo Montalban and Anthony Quinn, both are dead but were fit Mexicans in their 40's.

There's nothing wrong with being fat. People are just fascinated with the drastic change in Vargas. And c'mon..nothing unethical about laughing at a fat boy as long as it doesn't go too far. When I first saw that picture of fat Vargas I chuckled for a few seconds then I got over it. I would've done the same if that had been my brother.

its in his genes. even when he's still active as a fighter. he has the look of someone who could blow up immediately in weight

 

as long as his happy and with healthy mind why not?

 

Watch the Countdown to his fight with Mayorga, we knew it was his last fight and it was obvious looking at his condition that he had little control over his weight.

 

Vargas blew up like that before he was even thirty.

And the pictures that have been posted in this thread aren't even the worst that he's looked. Somebody should get a screenshot of Vargas when he did the ring walk with Chad Dawson before the second Tarver fight. Dude looked like he weighed 350 lbs.

 

I don't see what the problem is he's not that much bigger than the average man of his age and its not like he's still fighting so risking his health
