He was also a stupid fighter at times.....Cotto is a more disciplined fighter and much better boxer.

    Was Fernando ever a champ?

Was it just rumors or did he use steroids?

I saw him fight Mayorga at the Staples Center and he looked like
Tony " two ton " Galento.

Youngest Jr.middleweight champion at age 20. But he was caught for doing steroids once in his career against Oscar.

By the time he fought Mayorga he was done. He was only 29 but he had been having bad back problems and big time weight issues. His fight against Tito is a classic. Tito put him down twice in the very first minute of the fight, and he survived all the way to the 12th. Not only that but he also took control of the fight in the middle rounds, dropping Tito in the process. Very tough kid, one of my all time favorites. He did test posotive after the DLH fight. :-(

Hahahahaha!!! Many people are saying Cotto was stupid for laying on the ropes against Margarito and tying up, yet you are saying he is the more disciplined fighter and a much better boxer. Hilarious!! Keep up the jokes, maybe David Letterman will discover you.

This tells me all I ever need to know about you, which is: 1. You are clueless when it comes to boxers who are not from Puerto Rico, and 2. You are a simple-minded twat.

Pre-Tito: Vargas KO's the Cotto who fought Margarito.

Post-Tito to ODLH: IMO, Vargas has a 65%-75% chance of pounding out a decision win.

Post-DLH: IMO, Cotto has a 75% chance or greater if KOing Vargas or getting a UD.

Cotto get stopped in under 6, if Margarito was able to pull the pressure... surely Vargas can do that an more. Like everyone has been saying thus far, Vargas is just to big and strong for Cotto.
