Prime Vargas was on a different level than Castano and would give him a beating.

 

Feroz destroys that guy. Too good a boxer, too intense, too ferocious.

Round 5 vs. Trinidad is one of the greatest rounds ever boxed by a young fighter; he really wasn't more than a matter of an inch here and an inch there from defeating Tito at just age 22. Let that marinate.

Even the post-Trinidad versions whoop the Argentine.

 

Vargas wins this. Castano is a decent fighter but not on the same level as Vargas attained.

I'd back Castano. He's more professional than Vargas, who was slow, easy to hit and didn't have the best gas tank.
