I am a big Reid guy, but he needed a little more seasoning before the big time, but unfortunately his health wouldn’t allow him enough time. My guess is a similar result but Reid is good enough to finish and perhaps even win 3-4 rounds. A shame because I always felt he had the potential, but time was not on his side
Reid was one of those guys I used to hear about in the gym back in the early 90's. Hs had all of the skill in the world but by the time he turned pro he was really having problems with his vision. Had he not had the eye issues he certainly would have my vote against Vargas but the reality is what it is. I would have to take Vargas in this one.
reid will crack vargas more then once .. but vargas will prevail he's too busy .. has the pop .. reid has the eye .. it'd be a good fight though competitive
Reid would beat Vargas. He was quicker and had better snap on his punches. He actually went the distance against the same Tito.
These are the threads I like!! Just thinking about David Reid the other day and how many damn surgeries needed to repair the droopy eye. I mean, how many did he eventually get? They didn't improve anything. Anyways, Reid without the eye issues wins. But just like most above already said - reality is choosing Vargas.
