I hated Vargas when he was fighting but I have far more respect and even a smidgeon of love in my heart for him now.
He gets Kirkland out of there in a testosterone holocaust.

Would of been a fun fight... Multiple knock downs on both sides. In the end Vargas would win. He just had better skills..

 

It would be a blast if you enjoy watching one sided slaughters. Kirkland wouldn't be competitive in the LEAST bit.

You either don't realize how good a prime Vargas was, or you don't realize how much Kirkland sucks. Or both.

There would be no multiple knock downs on both sides.

Kirkland would be about as competitive as Ross Thompson was.

 

I was being kind to Kirkland.. He's one of my favorite active fighters!

 

He only used roids in the DLH fight, and it was OBVIOUS as all Hell. He was never that jacked before or after that fight. What's funny is, the roids actually HURT him. He was slow as **** in the DLH fight.

Vargas was actually alot qucker than given credit for.

 

No doubt he's fun to watch, but he sucks. He's only an HBO fighter because of how poor this era is.

Back in the late 90's/early 00's, Kirkland would have been an ESPN2 fighter at best.

 

Agree, but you should know people bring stuff like that because they like to hate.
