    Now, or all-time?

If Now, Williams, but I'm thinking you mean all time and I would still slightly favor Williams only because of his length, but it would be hard to go against a prime Vargas at 154.

Vargas had beautiful technical skills at his prime and would have boxed the flawed Williams head off. Fernando only got in trouble when he tried to brawl the top latino fighters. Tito was too tough for that and Oscar boxed too well for a brawling FV.

I have to say I see Williams overwhelming Vargas with his high workrate, and will beat Vargas, but It will be a close fight...Vargas had the power to hurt Willaims, and if anybody could knockout Williams, its vargas....But i dont see that happening,I see Williams winning by a late stoppage 12rd TKO

Even with Williams length and punch-rate Vargas would have stayed inside and moved around him. Not a dominant win but a clear and close victory...

IDK, I want to say Williams but I am a bit biased because I like him more than Vargas.

I mean yeah vargas got stopped by Tito but he dropped Tito too and Williams dont hit like Tito.

I think it depends on Williams power if he can hurt Vargas or not.

No question. Too much of everything from Vargas.

What about a Vargas on roids?

Yeah, the same one who was sent diving to the canvas by DLH.

Either people think Williams is a force, or they have no idea how good Vargas was.

The Vargas who fought De La Hoya was there for the taking, and Oscar knew it. Fernando's punch resistance dropped off the table after the Trinidad assault and the Rivera KD. De La Hoya got way too much credit for that win. Vargas was already damaged goods at that point.

You can give Vargas all the excuses you want, the man went in there stuffed with roids and got KO'd, that's all that matters.
