Both in their primes who wins? I know Forrest best weight was 147 but he was still very good at 154 and had some of his biggest wins their. They are both elite boxer-punchers. I would give the edge to Vargas because I think he could hurt Forrest. It would be an exciting fight and competitive but I like Vargas to win via decision.

A prime Forrest was before the shoulder problems. I think he stops Vargas, but it would be back and forth while it lasted.

Vargas has too much heart to be stopped by Forrest. It took Tito 12 rounds to finally finish off Vargas. Forrest was a very good fighter but overated on ESB IMO. He got beat twice by the great **** talking Mayorga...

After his shoulder problems. That's why I mentioned it. DLH wouldn't fight Forrest but was eager to fight Vargas. That should tell you something. I know styles make fights, but Mosley and DLH beat Vargas. DLH wouldn't take the chance and Mosley was schooled.

Forrest was elite, Vargas was not. Vargas would have no defense for the punches and take bombs in route to a UD loss.

Forrest by late KO or UD.
