fernando vargas wants fight again?

Hard to believe. Unless he's already training for 6 months. But even then.. he is either delusional OR he needs the money.


He subscribed for this years FPU (Fight promotor University) from Roy Engelbrecht, which suggests he's smarter than actually fighting again.

 

fernando vargas is the epitome of a truly washed up fighter. for his health sake he'd better stay retired!

I never liked Vargas on a pesonal level. But admittingly he was an exciting warrior to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him get KTFO by Tito and DLH. These days, he's fat and punchy. Completely shot. I'd advise him not to get in the ring again, unless he wishes to end up a vegetable.

 

Vargas may benefit from the layoff, but his body is going to go through some serious shock with all the weight and hard training. Vargas will do ok by staying active against journeyman but he's probably getting beat at the elite level like at the end of his career.
