This is surreal to me. Lets say he made 10 million, tax free, since 2000. If he put away 5Million, and he played with 5, hell, he could live off the interest, purchase a Fat mansion, and all the toys he wanted and start a few businesses and his own promotion. What the **** is he spending his cash on?

He's saving up a downpayment for Holyfield's foreclosed home.

That, and he has purchased controlling interest in Little Debbie Snacks.

First, Vargas did not clearly lose. Wright had some very good moments, it was close, but Vargas won more rounds.

Second, I doubt those rumors, I think you're actually making them up. Anyone who knows Vargas (not necessarily personally, butmore than the average fan) knows he is a smart business man, who own a few businesses throughout Southern California.

I highly doubt even considering a comeback is even in radar.

Vargas got the enchiladas beaten out of him by Winky. But since Fernando was the precocious star while Wright was perceived as the dull veteran, they robbed Winky of a well deserved victory and gave Vargas a tainted "W".

I wasn't gonna open the thread, as I thought to myself, "He'll never get his weight down, people need to stop buying into that possibility." I'm glad I did, this is hilarious.

That said, he's retired and might as well do as he likes.

Luv him or hate him, vargas was involved in some very exciting fights. What more do you want from a fighter. So what if he talked it up a lot, only the very best defeated him when he was prime. He still is the youngest ever jnr middle to win the title. The man could fight give him his dues, who gives a rats arse what he looks like now. It sounds like a heap of jealousy to me.
