Just like to add it suprises me that Crolla never gets recognition after a stunning win over Morris and the way he has come back since his loss to Sykes .

Very True, Morris was fantastic against Sykes and the way Crolla handled business goes to show how far he's come. Leaps and Bounds.

With regards to Joe what is his development plan this year in your eyes. 9 fights in and still a young lad at 23 what would be a good year for him in 2011? a title of some sort.. or progressive learning bouts with maybe a title shot late in year or early 2012?

yes going to let joe off leash this year give him couple more fights 8 rd then put him forward for titles English ,British cant hold him back he is 23 but a young 23 he like Degale etc have always fought the best around the world as amateurs and not used to this taking time adapting process so want to be let off lead as they are all used to fighting best all time as amateurs and Joe will make a impact this year !

Love Crolla's attitude. His in an eliminator with Carl Johanesson next would be shocked if its not a FOTY candidate. Hopefully a rematch with skykes or whoever is British champ before the year is out.

Yeah the kid fights who is put before him i have never known anyone have to fight so many quality fighters to get his shot at the british title or rematch with Sykes .
When he wins Lonsdale belt he have no one to defend against lol
These fights are more worthy of titles on line with bigger purses .
Crolla will not be denied and is determined to get that Lonsdale belt .

Joe,thanks for taking time out here to share some of your boxing knowledge..much appreciated.I don't mean to deviate from the Murray topic, but Joe if you can answer a question or 2 about macklin would be much appreciated..what was the story with his last performance, looked 2 have gassed in the 3rd round and didn't have alot left?and as for his world title aspirations, where does it now lye with no Martinez fight on the horizon?

Mathew the weekend before the fight after his last big session started to have some type cold/flu symptons . His weight was ok so we just took one day at a time when it got to Wed /Thursday we were going to look at pulling out but woke to news Gavin off bill cleverley opponent change Chisora fight off
Matt seemed to be clearing up his chest still bad a bit, he weighed in friday and was better seen the doctor was passed fit and he wanted to fight. I had studied Varon he technically good fighter but cannot sustain a attack and that was the case in the fight As it clear all to see after 4 rds Matt hit the wall and on sunday /monday after was bad again he had been battling it and it was amazing he did 12 rds for first time .
Mathew is determined to put a good display on next time and he will.
World title opportunities that will be down to His Manager Brian Peters and Promoter Frank Warren , Sylvester has a Soft job , Sturm is fighting Ronald Hearns ? Martinez fighting Lee , King of the who needs him club Pirog has got a fight against someone cant remember who ? I am Sure His team can deliver this year for him !
