    Round 5

Bull cutting a wide circle, loping well away from Woodhouse and leaving him lefts overhand and uppercuts to think about. Woodhouse comes at him strong, double-jabs and right hands. Bull lays on the ropes and Woodhouse attacks his body. Bull eats a right hand nearly flush and then a follow-up jab bang on the nose during a Woodhouse sequence of straight punches. Bull misses a left and hugs onto Woodhouse before he can take a counter. Another missed Bull left has him hanging on Woodhouse's back as the shorter man ducks. Body work from Bull.

Surprised this is the first time i've seen Bull in a long time. Used to see him every other week. I think he has got to Curtis here.

    I agree lads.

Instead of drafting in these clowns from Latvia to take a dive in the first round they could give Bull a payday.

Eight or ten rounds with Bull would be better than ten knockouts over bums, if you win it's a nice scalp, if you lose.... you don't have it.

    Aye.

Woodhouse by a round now. Watt has only given Bull one of five.

    Round 6

Woodhouse jabbing strong now. Bull playing keepaway. Woodhouse with his chin tucked, going for the body. Bull skirting off, safe until he finds the ropes at his back and Woodhouse right on top of him. They hold and tap each other lightly to the body while the ref yells at them. Both tired now, a lot of leaning in and hanging on. Bull leans off and lets his hands go a bit. Woodhouse ducks his head down and hammers the body in turn. Bull with his arms wrapped around Woodhouse's back. Woodhouse shakes free and attacks the body anyway. The ref warns him for hitting on the break, threatens a point. Woodhouse with a 1-2 as Bull tries to pin him on the ropes, sweat flies from Bull's crew cut.

    Woodhouse 4-2

    Round 7

A little lecture from the ref about keeping the infighting clean, aimed at both before they get started.

Woodhouse chases Bull back to a corner, ripping out jabs and right hands. They wrestle around with half their bodies joined, Curtis' left arm entwined with Stefy's right. Body shots from Bull as Woodhouse winds up back to the corner. Bull now commanding with his southpaw jab. Big body shots from Bull. Woodhouse coming back with straight punches in bunches but Bull blocking off well. One hook does get around and rattle Bull. He walks into a counter right hand and presses Woodhouse up against the ropes. Bull holding a bit now. He fires a 1-2 and hangs on. After the break Bull comes alive with six hard underhand shots to the body of Woodhouse. Bull slips a jab and touches Woodhouse's body once more.

Great effort by Bull. Woodhouse landed some really hard ones, but got outworked.

    Woodhouse up 4-3

Thats exactly the way i see Bull you beat him your a brit contender, you KO him you might be a champ. You lose to Bull your a gatekeeper at best. A tough fight for any prospect but a very winnable one with a fair bit of risk.

Good fight so far was Steffy not a bit lighter than this back in the day?

    Round 8

Both go for broke, punching from a distance. Each lands a couple, Woodhouse with greater authority. Neither stepping in and daring a clinch, as both seem to be catching their breath. Finally they can't help themselves and come together, but quickly break off. Woodhouse charging in with the 1-2 but it lacks the earlier steam. Bull rolling along the ropes, dodging Woodhouse after luring him on. Bull with some very weak pitty-pat combos, landing well but not hurting Woodhouse. Woodhouse ducks his head down and takes some soft headshots, reaches out and whacks Bull's body once. That's the round mainly, single shots from Woodhouse and lots of little touches from Bull. HUGE left hook from the hip catches Bull on the face at the bell.

    Round 9

Bull flicks out a lead left and starts working the right jab while backing off, looks toasted. Woodhouse comes at him hard, hooks and rights. Bull goes down after taking several on the glove, but it's ruled a slip. Woodhouse keeps the pressure on him, starts snapping jab a bit harder to poke into the guard of Bull. Bull taps the top of Woodhouse's head as he ducks it down looking for the body. Right hand breaks through Bull's guard, and a Woodhouse hook crunches him in the ribs. A couple of more shots and the ref decides that Bull has had enough.

Not a great stoppage, or a terrible one. No worse or better than in McDonnell-Bracco, really. Bull was getting his brains bounced around his skull.

He once came in at 121 early in his career. Was at 135 for a lot of his career I think he is better sooted to a lower weight doesn't have enough stregnth at 140 to keep off someone like Woodhouse.

Gotta be honest Woodhouse shouldn't take on Gavin he will get completely outboxed. Would probably ruin his career hard to come back from a complete beat down and I like Woodhouse.

Great fight. Bull is a warrior. Woodhouse will give Frankie Gavin a good fight. Although, this fight will not be shown on the televised ppv card, apparently.
