Hearn pretty much said in an interview the other day he'll give Wilder/Fury 50/50 to get the fights done.
Is this you taking Eddie Hearn’s word to be gospel? Give your head a shake mate. If you think he’s going to offer those two fifty fifty I’ve got a few magic beans you might be interested in.
You muppet.... If Hearns is not calling the shots why is he there? Why is your god AJ not a free agent similar to what Mayweather was ? Did you ever hear of Don King ? Or Bob Arum? Eddie runs the show, period, or di you think your boy put together the show in Saudi Arabia? You fighter just spit his mouth piece out and quit against a sharp but not hard puncher late fat sub who was paid to loose in AJ's US debut. The script back fired and a even fatter Ruiz forced to change AJ entire fight make up and become a runner instead of a banger.....and still had the look of utter panic on his face when the fatty came remotely close........ AJ is packing glass, mentally and physically.....Hearns knows it, his team knows it and AJ knows it.........he will be stayed clear of punchers for quite some time and Wilder is the absolute top goal post for punchers....that fight will never get made, however , the chane that AJ malfunctions again vs a hand picked can is distinct.
I think he will tbh, yea. After Wilder beats Fury or Fury beats Wilder conclusively, the winner will be seen as the undoubted no.1 in the division. They'll have faced each other two/three times while AJ won't have faced either. The British public don't care about names like Parker, Povetkin, Ruiz or even Usyk, they'll be loudly calling AJ a ducker and I think Hearn/AJ will give into the pressure and make a 50/50 fight with whoever has the WBC belt. They were happy to give Charles Martin six million for the IBF belt. In Eddie's own words; sometimes you have to pay people what they may not deserve to make things happen.
They already have offered what Wilder doesn't deserve in the 40/60 split and the €100m 3 fight deal. Haymon just doesnt have any faith in Wilder to win the fight against AJ.
Don't talk sense, AJ fanboys will come on and talk about this wonderful resume he supposedly has, acting as if he's beaten prime Lewis, prime Tyson and prime Holyfield consecutively and talk about how popular he is and purse splits as if they're part of the negotiations etc.
I think you’re living in a complete fantasy land. The British public might not care about negotiations but they do care, as evidenced by the astronomic sales over the weekend, about watching Joshua. If Eddie Hearn says Fury priced himself miles out of the deal so we’ll go and do a deal with Usyk then that fight will happen. Tyson can go back to giving away free tickets with breakfast cereal for his fights. People have talked about the public turning on Joshua before. There’s no sign whatsoever of that happening. Nobody in boxing ever just accepts the short end of the deal. They all know their value. As I’ve said before, if Pacquaio can accept 40% for the biggest fight ever then Fury and Wilder can.
Or Wilder ends up accepting it. He’s one loss away from being king of the who needs him club. He’s not getting AJ money without fighting AJ.
