    But would put up a good fight against anybody in their weight class from any time period.

    I was thinking at work that I don't think any heavyweight could have made easy work of Ray Mercer, no matter the style. He may not have been a great undisputed champ but he could fight his ass off and I don't envision anybody working him.

    Who you guys got?

    Eddie Machen? Arturo Gatti, or does he fit the bill because he did actually achieve good status in his career regardless of not being a great (well not in the true aspect).

    Bob Satterfield, provided he doesn't banged out early, haha.

    If Joel Casamayor doesn;t qualify as elite then he's a lock here, ****ing quality boxer.
