    To go to Germany a beat the local fighter is always an achievement so well done Rocky . What next for Fielding well there was mention of a return clause which may be enforced ?whatever the relationship between Zeuge and the Sauerlands is they will want the WBA title back within their promotion. Match room could do the return with Ryder ? Doubt whether a Degale match up could be agreed!

    The obvious one for me is if and big if Smith beats Groves it could be a hugely lucrative all Scouse Derby rematch at a Eddie Hearn special football stadium. I was wondering though, do the WBA like their 2 ‘champions’ fighting each other.

    Groves could easily win that anyway so it may not happen. I think Rocky will get an easy ish opponent for his first defence anyway and then I can see Degale. It makes a lot of sense for both. Ryder is a very good shout too, Fielding was terrible in that fight and lucky to win.

    Well done Rocky but an indictment of the modern game that Rocky Fielding can walk around and call himself a world champion.
