Fielding v Vera was one of the worst finishes to a fight I've ever seen

that was so bad. :-(
I've said it many times before, Brits are even worse as the Germans and IJL is one of the worst referees in all of boxing

 

Lethal finishing instincts from Rocky, left IJL no choice but to stop the fight, he really put a beating on poor Vera. Terrific show old boy.

 

i'll agree he's one of the worst refs in boxing, but I don't think the stoppage itself was that bad - the rose vs C jones one was worse.

The 2nd kd was appalling, the ref didn't stop it when vera touched down, then carried on his count ignoring the punch that floored him.

vera was done at the stoppage, and didn't seem to be arguing too hard about wanting to continue.

sure, but he was gone due to an illegal punch and then another that never should have landed, wich was a direct result of the illegal punch.
this was emberassing

 

It's not on Germany level, it's even worse.

 

Bo llocks Robney some of that **** in Germany is almost as bad as the rubbish that used to go on in Italy in the 70's , 80's and part of the 90's . The problem we have is that the refs that are put usually put in charge of the better fights are John-lewis and Howard foster who are so bad it's embarrassing . John-lewis is a terrible ref but he's not a dishonest man

 

Don't forget about O'Connor and Parris. They're always protecting and favoring the home fighter judging and reffing.
If you just make a list of what happened in the last couple of years you'll see how bad British officiating has become. And I'm not just talking about the worldwide known British finishes.
