I think Fields will be a CW Champ first before he moves up to HW just like Holyfield, even their name there's something in common.(Field):good

Haven't seen Haye, but seen Bell-Mormeck last night in SHO. Fields sure beats both of these guys.

It's a nice win, but please remember, Davis looked very chinny tonight and has been for awhile now.

Fields is a guy to watch, but nothing indicates that he's ready for Ding or any other top contender yet. Let him get a few more Davis level opponents under his belt first.

That's an absurd statement. How can you pick a guy with only 11 pro fights over two proven world champion level fighters? It was a nice one minute performance against a basically shot guy, but let's be real.

Agree completely. However, 75 seconds was enough to show that "Danger" has a heck of a skill set.

Don't know yet how great of a chin Fields has though. He has a very fragile-lookin frame.. I'm thinking he may not take a punch too well :think

I have a good eye for talent, First time I see talent & impressed I say it. Pac, Donaire, Banal, Victor Ortiz, Kirkland, Pavlik, Concepcion, & now Fields. I'm sold on these guys on First screening.

I think he's a hell of a prospect, and a great addition to the already deep cruiserweight division. I picked him to stop Davis early based on how quick and how sharp of a puncher he is. Not that early, but I'm not surprised.

Fields looked impressive to me - but like others have said, Davis hasn't been taking punches too well lately, and undoubtedly his accident didn't help.

He made the right decision to hang 'em up. Hope it sticks.

Ya, just throwing in my lot with Fields impressing the **** out of me. Likable fellow too. I missed how old he was. Can any one tell me that?

Good fighter! Great fast combos with excellent accuracy. Knew how to put the guy away when he was done.

Yeah Haye was contemplating moving up to heavyweight whether or not he beat Mormeck, now he is going to fight Enzo then move up, i think it is just too hard for him to make 200pds now.

Slow down buddy... Fields just beat a fighter who had lost his last 3 fights, and had an injured back before tonight... this isn't some top 10 guy he demolished in one round. To say he is ready for Mormeck or Bell is ridiculous. Fields only has 11 fights and has never been passed 6 rounds. Look at the people he's fought.... he's nowhere near Mormeck or Bell yet.
