I chose not to include Jimmy Wilde in my top 15 flyweight punchers — not because I deny his punching power, but because it’s difficult to judge fighters from that era objectively. There’s a lack of clear footage, the styles were very different, and many opponents back then weren’t as well-prepared defensively as modern boxers. That makes comparisons tricky. So I focused on fighters whose bouts I could actually study in detail. It’s not about disrespecting past legends — it’s about making fair evaluations based on what I can truly analyze.
