    Pender never fought the quality of opponents Giardello did! Couldn't you work that out for yourself?
    Tiger was just 11 months older than Giardello.

    Not at his peak ? He re-won the title from Giardello you ass!
    A year later he won the lightheavyweight title from Torres .

    Some amazing claims being made here. Steele ducked a regional Euro welter and chose to fight soft touches like Apostoli, Overlin, Babe Risko and Gorilla Jones instead. And did I see that Paul Pender is better than Giardello? I have a lot of reading to do.

    How many people are including Micky Walker in their list?

    Here's one.Don't know about Ratsa Gooly, he just told me Joey Giardello wasnt worthy to fight for the title!
