I agree. This appeals to the more realistic side of me but I'm a sucker for hype. I let myself go. I leave rational behaviour to later. I'm not talking about the production though.
Another terrific episode, Showtime and HBO put Sky to shame when it comes to hyping a fight. Sky's countdown shows are OK but aren't enough on their own they just do not compare to something like 360 or 24/7. Was anyone else really angry with Dirrells comments about robbery and why no fighters come to the UK. I know he probably shaded and has a right to be disapointed but it really angers me when I hear this American propaganda bs about robberies abroad with their holier then thou attitude and are a clean slate to the sport.
Why has it become folk lore that 'he was unlucky' and should have won? Did he bollocks win. He was awful.
What an episode, that was brilliant i like how Froch and Pascal have banter and are good mates after the war they had. Also like how Dirrell and Ward are close mates aswell and support each other, thats always good to see, still notice how its only the american Dirrell that complained about the loss and Kessler and Taylor took it on the chin like men, This tourney is quality hope the next ep. will be on the website on the 27th
Where can you watch the other 2 episodes? I searched and all I can find is the little 2min clips of each fighter which I've watched about 100 times already of those previews they do on primetime lol, and a real shitty joggy video of the 2nd one.
This show is great, its simple but interesting all the way through unlike 24/7 which I just can't get up for - I never watch that bull****. Too many tired cliches and buzzwords, the over the top poetic narration...its just awful. Painful to relive Kessler's defeat, I havn't rewatched it since...but its good to see he's keeping it in perspective. Life doesn't end and the tournament goes on.
I'm really starting to like AA thanks to Fight Camp . He seems such a cool guy. btw, Did anyone spot Andy Kerr in that episode? They showed him interviewing Dirrell on fight night.
They are a really good watch. Very well shot and edited. I think Kessler comes across as a really cool guy as well. Not arrogant or flashy but has that understated coolness and confidence. Shame he couldn't adapt to Ward's style and can't wait for the Froch fight as that has FOTY written all over it
This show is brilliant love the focus on the promoters i'm starting to like Lou Di Bella :yikes Seems as if he really is close to his fighters
Yeah, I think its a lot better than 24/7 More gritty, more of a genuine fly on the wall view when you want it.
