Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s gone awol again. I reckon they’ll put him in with Fowler / Cheeseman regardless - Fitz wont turn it down because of the money but will lose because he’s not ready
Apparently they are getting a deal with BBC. Will just watch their highlights if they deliver little for a tenner
Probably reading too much into but that's the first time I've seen Eddie look under pressure and slightly desperate he's normally confident and smooth in interviews but that one ?? Hmmmmmm. Perhaps the reality of leaving Sky with a paper thin roster of talent is setting in Eddie's been conning and fooling the fans for so long I think he's started to become deluded himself. Does he seriously believe he's going to entice casuals to subscribe to DAZN with cards like this ?? One thing that's become clear to me is EH believes just putting 'names' on cards is enough and quality of opponent is a distant second, that might be adequate on Sky Sports for viewers who have subscribed mainly for PL football but as a standalone service it'll be a small miracle IMO if this DAZN venture works out Interesting times ahead.........
These cards are horrendous Sky gets alot of stick but to put it in perspective. Inoue fights 1 week then lomachenko the next. But dazn have Connor benn ppv champ who hasn't even won a British or commonwealth title embarrassing
Most of us on here knew things were bad with Matchroom's monopoly on Sky but we're going to see just how truly awful Eddie's 10 year reign of terror on Sky was with Top Rank replacing him and hopefully some British cards will start to appear on Sky soon. The contrast between what we've been served the past decade and what's replacing it will be huge
Sums it all up in a nutshell , EH has gone a little down the WWE route in making beef between 2 average boxers and then hyping it up for the casuals. Then he signs AJ and Dylian Whites boxers and gives them plumbers to box as he does not want to upset his PPV darlings. Genuinely when was the last time he brought a Top fight to the UK?
To be fair to Hearn he did manage to bring Golovkin, Lomachenko, and Usyk all to the UK to fight. However, all the fights were PPV, when Lomachenko Campbell definitely shouldn't have been and didn't even do 200k buys.
All one sided though as Brook, Bellew and Campbell were cannon fodder. Big fights to me are 50/50 huge fights such as Joshua v Klitschko and Usyk v Gassiev
Sky need to hurry up and get some sat night fights going, what they waiting for.?Strike whilst the irons hot!
Not sure if you're being serious or not but if you are - The Snake has only just left, these things take time. Sky to their credit have the international side of things already sorted with Top Rank, fairly confident they'll get the domestic side set up soon
