Both men have seven pro fights. 26 year old southpaw Christian "Real" Camarena from just down the way in Pasadena has been victorious in all of his, with 3 kayos. Eight years older, José "Loko" Valenzuela of Mexico has lost all but one, and has always gone the distance.

10-9 Camarena but Valenzuela is game.

People in the YT comments section roasting Camarena for his looks, flamboyant trunks and haircut, referring to him as "Jake Paul" and "Tristan Tate". :sisi1

Kid has got hands, though, started bashing the Mexican up in the 2nd.

Valenzuela (whom the commentators are referring to by his apellido materno, Alvarado) can switch-hit, it turns out, and is very awkward...stepping in with a cross-armed defense and then winging haymakers overhead with his chin tucked down and upper body tilted forward. It actually does throw Camarena's rhythm off for stretches. He isn't winning rounds, but he's being disruptive and never getting beaten up for too long.

    Clueless color commentator.

The play by play guys asks him how he has it, and he says "I've got it level after two - what's that? Three? What round are we in?"

    Paragon of professionalism.

"I don't have a Compubox counter on me at the moment..."

    Please, this commentary, I'm crying.

Fourth was tight, Loko swarming and outworking him but Camarena with the much cleaner and harder stuff.

You could have it 40-36 or 39-37 Camarena, or worst case a draw. Don't listen to Mr. "I've Got It Even After 3 (Wait What Round Is It?)".

This appears to be a family affair situation. Now only is Ernesto Mercado the main event fighter but Ernesto Mercado is also the promoter and matchmaker.

Boy, Lundy keeps moving down the food chain as an opponent. Here's to hoping Lundy pulls it off.

Four loss skid, and 2-6 dating to 5 years ago when he beat DeMarcus Corley (who insanely is also still getting work as a B-side, himself 2-5 in that same span, with a fight lined up next month)
