Name ONE single fighter each division to fight for your life earnings and possessions. This fighter could be challenged by any other fighter in the history of the division. At the very least evision him fighting the consensus top 5 for e.g. Pick the guy you think most likely to succeed against any and all other comers. A good or popular choice might be SRR at 147, Gomez at 122, Jones at 168 etc.

    Lopez at Straw

    Chang at lightfly

    Holy at cruiser

Mayweather at 130 (There are certainly some guys who could beat him but he is right up there H2H)

Foster at lightheavy (Though Im resigned to the fact that a lot of people will be able to make an arguement for guys like Moore and Charles beating him at the very least, maybe some more guys)

Thought I would try some of the less established divisions.

I'll take Leon and Michael Spinks...They regularly carried guns with them, I think.

Good stuff guys!!!!! I love this ****!!

    Heavyweight -

I like the pre exile Ali to beat all or almost all comers. I don't know there's a heavyweight that would definitely beat Frazier, Foreman AND Liston. I think peak Ali would have beaten Norton solidly and Frazier competitively tho it's obviously open here. I like him over everyone actually with Frazier, Louis and Holmes being live ones.

I'll go with Chris here. I always pick him over Dempsey and believe at this weight he might pip Holyfield and would be too strong for Patterson.

I gotta go with Roy. Calz will be interesting.

Based on 160 consistency noway, but the criteria is at their absolute finest and i think he'd get enough wins here. I favour him over Jones, Hopkins, Hagler and Monzon in one off fights at his BEST. Jones i think could potentially beat the other three. I like Hopkins over Hagler and Monzon but not over SRR and i would make Jones a narrow fave over him.

Contrary to some i see him beating McCallum, possibly even stopping him. Mike is a top fighter, but no better than contempory history has made him. He could potentially stop Hearns but i see Tommy's speed, jab and pure power making the fight. Curry has Mike quite hurt and i think Hearns might turn the trick.

    Welterweight -

Not much explanation needed. I think he beats a Leonard, KNOW he beats Gavilan and heavily favour him against all others. He'd slice Napoles up IMO with his slashing combinations.

Easy way out here. He didn't fight much here but who exactly beats him? Picking between Whitaker, Pryor, Chavez and co is hard work. I like Dooran to beat the Larry Lot.

Damn hard to go against here.

Hard one this. I fear PBF, Chavez and Camacho for starters. But for them i would fear Arguello. I'm banking on him catching Camacho over 15 rounds, and being that bit better man than the other two at Arguello's peak weight. Fingers crossed.

I don't doubt he could pressure Pep enough over 15, and perhaps he can smother Saddler enough too tho Sandy is a great infighter too. I'll pin my hope on frenetic workrate. The classy Sanchez comes into calculations too, and i don't doubt Fenech could cause big probs even among these.

Well i have always thought Fenech could beat Gomez so he's got to be the man in a divsion that was terribly thin till recently. I think his total lack of fear, physical bullying and smothering attack would surprise and counter Gomez well on a myraid of levels. Gomez had his own way at this weight all too often and i feel Jeff could shake him up by not allowing him to be the boss.

Have forever been a massive fan. Most will pick the greats Jofre and Olivares but i feel good taking Zarate. Size (yet fine infighting ability), great power, durability and much more. I ponder whether he is becoming underrated presently.
