Damn Im really thankful HBO put a show on like this. Been waiting for America to do a show like this, hope its ratings do well. Would love to see a show like this get put on espn, maybe a half hour boxing show talking about the state of the game, showing highlights, ect. I know it wont happen but hell even this show is an awesome step in the right direction, I hope everyone can enjoy it while it lasts. Not often America gets a boxing show like this. Its why Im so envious of British boxing fans, they get that one boxing show which seems excellent.
yep its like skys ringside talks about other networks fight and praises them, steve kim talks like he had a stroke
Honestly, the fact that HBO had the balls to imply they were above partisanship, and throw it in our faces three times that Showtime would not allow its footage on the show, then to turn around not mention Ajsoe and Matthysse on that list was pretty ****ing laughable.
this show is good for one thing: perhaps getting more casuals into boxing. any hardcore that watches this must feel insulted by all the wrong **** lampley says, he gets so much **** wrong it's shocking. i can't even watch it anymore but it is good for boxing to have show like this. it's a shame that the average esb forum poster knows more about the topics lampley brings up then lampley himself.
Have you tried watching Golpe a Golpe, kirk? IMO thats the best boxing show out ATM. Marquez as one of the announcers is always great. :good Assuming of course, you understand some spanish.
Take Vitali and Ward (no offence to him, as he still great) out of the list and replace them with Matthysse and Maidana.
