Nothing, it is just that people have very poor reading comprehension.

When you say it is done deal, both parties have signed.

Don't start a bull**** thread declaring something that did not happen yet.

If you want to make a thread, why don't you title it like this"Mayweather vs. Mosley fight immenent, both parties to sign soon." or something like that.

Go to my other posts and you will find nothing that would show I am against this fight. Afterall, this is a fight that should have happened for a long, long time, and yet we treat this like it is a discovery of the atom because it is happening. See how we stoop to that level?

We all know that negotiations among the top tier fighters are not done deal yet until everybody signed, and even if 5they both signed, anything can happen until they are on top of the ring.

Regardless, you know your legal terms.

A contract is not a done deal until both parties have signed.

Technically, when only one fighter signed, it is an unsigned contract yet, not partially signed, or unilaterally signed.

I honestly don't understand the ***** way of thinking. Why would Floyd's haters hate that the Mosley fight may be happening? I would think they hate Floyd for ducking top welterweights for years. A fight with Shane is a step in the right direction, albeit a decade late.

Technically, a contract signed by one party is an unsigned contract, not partially signed or unilaterally signed.

There is no cup half-full or half-empty, just signed or unsigned.

I am a Gayweather hater but if he fights Mosley I will change my stance to neutral and will put a Mayweather avatar for 2 days. Somehow I think he will pull out of this fight.

It's not yet within the realm of impossibility. :rofl

But yes, I'll give him some credit if he does indeed sign.

The harder part is stepping in the ring.

Its funny didn't clottey and pac just sign there contracts recently, as in only last week.

Yet they announced the fight how long ago???

Contracts get signed quite late on. So why is it ok for clottey and pac to agree to fight verbally but it aint ok for floyd and shane to? HAHAHAHA

Yes, there is.....If floyd sign, the fight will still be on May1, still enough time for floyd to back out and fight pac (if he wins against clottey)..

Floyd, knowing how he rolls, cant risk lowering his value(if he losses against mosley) for a multi-million mega fight...I have a feeling, in the end, mosley will be left out...AGAIN!!!

Well then we should all be happy right?

So why am i still reading posts claiming the fight aint signed blah blah blah, but they weren't saying that when pac and clottey agreed to fight. All the time we were led to believe the contract was signed but that was not the case.

Technically Arum could have still negotiated with golden boy to get the fight on. But they clearly lied to make golden boy think that the fight was signed and negotiations ended.

Which was a complete lie as pac only signed this week.
