Fight is actually not signed yet is what they said on ESPN, but that's a formality.

Cotto had his shot to fight Floyd at 140 in a unification fight, Cotto was ring side and nearly pissed his pants at what Floyd did to Gatti. Floyd wanted the fight and Cotto's people wanted nothing of it.

When Mayweather blew through Welterweight the only person talking Margarito up was Margarito, hell Mosley didn't take a fight with him because there was no appeal in his first campaign through 147.

I don't care that Gatti had been beaten, Mayweather put on an exhibition on Gatti that set the tone in the division and when Cotto had the shot to step up he backed down.

Oscar lost to a very good fighter in Mosley and to B-Hop but didn't show the receeding skills that Cotto had/is showing.

But that just goes back to my point, Cotto was damaged goods and since you say Oscar is as well that means that those skills must have been comepletely shot by the time he fought Pacquiao, in addition to being weight drained.

So Pacquiao's career outside of Barrera I is victories over a shot Morales, a shot De La Hoya, a shot Cotto, a shot and blown up Oscar Larios, and a weakest link David Diaz. While running from Casamayor and Raheem. ****ing wonderful, his record is just as spotty if not worse than Mayweathers, end of story.

Cotto never had a shot to fight Floyd, NEVER!! It was Floyd who said Cotto was too green at the time for a fight to be made. So you got it wrong. You can hate Pac all you want, I'm not a fan of his either but cant argue with what he has done.

No - Mosley offered to come down to 140 and fight for Pac's Jr WW title, but Pac refused.

Shane has no choice to accept random test because HELLO he was caught using, that and he makes peanuts compared to the position he holds in the most competitive weight class. Good luck to both fighters, I want to see them at their best and please no tomfoolery from pb's camp.

"We are going to take Gatti down I will take on Hatton and then I’ll get a little green and take on Cotto and punish him. Then I’ll be the King and go on to 147 to take over ‘47."

    -Floyd Mayweather Jr.
