Fight is DONE. Shane vs Floyd May 1

Im excited for the fight taking place, itll be a good fight. But I dont know why people are acting like Floyd suddenly has balls of steel. Hes an elite welterweight champion. He SHOULD fight other elite welterweight champions. The only people thinking he wouldnt fight him were *******s. They were just hoping he didnt so it looked like Floyd ducked Pac.

Other than that, cant wait for the fight.

****ing awesome. Doesn't have the mainstream appeal but this fight is the real deal.

Nothing has been signed yet just agreeing to the terms like Pac and Floyd did but paperwork and other b.s. has to be sorted out first before the fighters actually signed. I can't for this honestly and I got my money on Floyd UD.

 

Great interview. Never read before (I read the whole thing). If you read through that interview you'll see why Floyd is the way he is because of how he was treated coming up not given a chance on the HBO side of things and fighters not wanting to fight him. Always interesting on how Arum and Mayweather interacted back then to now. I guess that that answers the question about him callin' people out. He called out Hatton, Mosley, De La Hoya, Tszyu when they all were arguably at their prime at that particular moment. And from the looks of it he would have fought all except Tszyu for obvious reason and if he triumphs over Mosley.. how can anyone doubt this man? I can't wait for the Mosley/May fight and then the May/Pac fight.

As a Floyd fan, the only thing I see that's interesting to how he fights now is how he was making such a big deal about fights being in fighters home-towns but all of his last major fights have been in Vegas. Now.. in no way shape or form am I saying he lost any of his fights except maybe Castillio 1.. maybe, but beyond that he's won without question. I guess he was like **** this and I'm going to move to Las Vegas and try to become the home town favorite since everyone sees me as the bad guy.

You haters are ****ing pathetic. No one is forced into anything. Mosely isn't Floyd's mandatory. If Floyd is scared of Mosley like you idiots think he never would have agreed to the fight and could have very easily fought someone else.

 

Like I said Pimp, not too long ago Floyd was going to duck Mosley. Now that the fight is about to be signed, Floyd is being forced to fight Mosley. Both of these statements assume that Mosley is a difficult challenge for Floyd. I think we both know what people on here will be saying about this fight afterwards should Floyd win.

 

this only means pac and his team don't want no part of mosley:good the guy wanted to go down at pac's ideal weight and refused, that means mosley was willing to handicap himself and team pac still scared at that offer, floyd on the other hand will fight mosley at mosley's ideal weight

Lance, show me one post where I mentioned anything about Pac fans in regards to Shane. Now please stop making **** up. As far as Floyd fans, it doesn't matter if they say it's an easy win. This is a fight that everyone wants to see between two highly ranked fighters. Much respect to the winner. I said from the get go that Pac would beat the **** out of Cotto and that's happened. Does this mean I should downplay the win? Hell no. Cotto is a damn good fighter. He just matches up terribly with Pacquiao.

 

Exactly! Now that the fight is about to happen. It's one of two things. One Mosley is shot or two PBF was forced into fighting Shane. BTW I guess soon we won't be seeing Bladerunner anymore that is if he honors his bet with you.:yep:good

 

He's got until the day after the fight. He should leave now, but something crazy could happen that would temporarily save his ass.
