i agree. that is why they are agreeing for blood testing some time before the fight AND "right after the fight", even after the 12th round (if it goes there).

listen, i am a Pac fan...if he ever fails a test, i will be the first one to chastise him for it. but the guy has been tested for every fight and has given us no reason to think he is dirty. it has become mainstream news because of PBF and Goldenboy Promotions, they are posturing and the Pac camp will not take their crap.

i don't see Pac ducking here, but standing up for himself.

i understand the argument against it, but along with that is gonna come great doubt to whether or not he is clean, and im sorry but the "he never failed a test" argument doesnt work anymore as we know the testing is a joke becasue guys like bonds, mcguire and mosley all have clean test records, yet everyone knows otherwise, the system in place doesnt work and there is no arguing against that

10 million per pound? Is that the nevada state athletic commissions standard? Or is that a special stipulation for this specific fight? So there ya go, why not add another special stipulation. This will be the most watched and covered fight in the history of the sport, why not go the extra mile and have the olympic style testing? These two fighters have more to lose in this fight than any other fight in their careers.

IMO all of boxing should use this type of testing.

Let's please not forget where all this bull**** got started. Floyed mayweather sr. almost got ricky hatton killed, embarrassed himself with all his antics before the fight, and then went out looking for a way to wipe all the egg off his face. What did he come up with...Steriods. WOW what luck, now he doesn't really suck as a trainer, and his guy wasn't really out-classed by a much better fighter, it was the steriod monster. I was under the impression that ALL FIGHTERS were tested before and after a fight, was I wrong? Since when did the regular drug testing get tossed out the window, how is it good enough for every other fight but not this one? Let me get this straight... floyd mayweather sr. starts some rumor with zero evidence or even eye witness testimony, now manny has to bend over backwards to discredit a rumor started by a crackhead? You've got to be kidding me. You don't let dudes who go to prison for running coke dictate how you do bussiness. If the regular testing thats good enough for every other boxer in the fu$king world isn't good enough for the mayweathers...too bad. Floyd needs manny, not the other way around

I say dont take it. He's no mayweather's puppy. He is already reasonable with the amount of testing he was willing to do. Results IS already very well sufficient

so you just indicted the entire sports world. yes the system is flawed, but there is a system. if i may, by your account, Lennox could be dirty, so is Duran, PBF, Ali...let me go further - Jeter, LeBron, Peyton Manning, etc.

so everyone guilty of doping unless they prove to "you" and the mainstream media they are not?

apologies for the extreme comparison, but i just don't see any fairness in your statement.

    Good post.

Pacquiao agreed to the initial terms of the testing. Now the Mayweather camp is demanding random testing leading up to the fight.
Olympic style drug testing is not the norm in boxing, but Manny agreed to the initial terms, but now Floyd wants more intense testing? If Manny agrees to this, what does Floyd come up with next?

I'm a fan of both fighters and have followed their careers for the last 10+ years, but the Mayweather camp is getting out of hand with their requests.

Some people think Manny is trying to hide something.

To me, it looks more like Floyd is looking for a way out.
