If this fight gets made. No one gets owned. It's funny Mayweather can duck for years, then if he gets trapped into a corner after a natural disaster forced him into a dangerous fight, people were wrong about him and he was never a ducker. Hahaha. Not.

Guess what, this is what Mayweather SHOULD do, it's not an extraordinary act. :D

When you get excited, logic does not seem to be your strong character.

Hatton is not a welterweight, he fought at welterweight but he is not a welterweight.

How many of those are actually reigning champions when he fought them???? Past champions, a lot, but reigning champion is different.

I don't get it. If he is a ducker, how is he forced into a fight by another fight he wasn't involved in being canceled. I'm confused with your logic, I would appreciate you clarifying for me please friend.

Mosley would have a say to that as well, but he has to wait until the contracts are signed.

Afterall, there are still issues to be settled like doping test, purse, venue (Surely Nevada because that is the only state that allows xylocaine), ring size (24 x 24 vs. 20 x 20), glove size (14 oz, vs. 10 oz), catchweights, judges.

When your back is against the wall with no exit signs or door out, and people are attacking you, would you fight?

Mayweather's back isn't against the wall. He just goes after the biggest money fights. Mosley has gotten a **** load of press since the marquez fight. His name has been put out so many times that he's worth marketing now. The Mayweather Money machine can work with that now. GBP saw this fight happening down the line, that's why they had Shane call out Floyd on HBO. He needed the publicity first.

Berto and the disaster just sped up the process a little bit.

It's going to be an exciting 24/7 and match, for sure.

That is all your opinion..he could still fight whoever he wanted..I dont think he "cares" as much about what the fans think as he does his own self...FIGHTING MOSLEY IS A GOOD THING AND PEOPLE ARE ALREADY STARTING TO DOWNPLAY IT..ASSUMING THIS FIGHT HAPPENS I DONT THINK PEOPLE SHOULD ASSUME FLOYD TOOK IT CUZ "HIS BACK IS UP AGAINST THE WALL"..He has said many times he fights who he wants regardless of what anyone else think...

if he take the fight with mosley YOUR ARGUMENT ALONG WITH EVERY ONE ELSE THAT SAID "HE WOULD DUCK THE BEST" OR "HE WOULD NEVER FIGHT A TOP WW LIKE MOSLEY" IS ALL PROVED WRONG AND IS PROVED TO BE A BUNCH OF BULL**** BECASUE HE WOULD BE DOING EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID HE WOULDN'T :deal:thumbsup

This is a fight I've wanted to see for awhile but I'll wait until it's official until I get too excited.

I thought Pacquiao-Mayweather was a sure thing and that just ****ing pissed me off.

Floydettes have a way of rewriting history really.

For starters, the idea of Mayweather not fighting Mosley originally came from Mayweather himself.

These are his answers in the Brian Kenny interview:

"I don't fight for bragging right."

"Shane Mosley who's got 5 losses."

"He beat Cotoo, Cotto beat him, but nobody beat Mayweather."

    "Mosley is not a PPV."

    "A belt don't make me."

And you blame people when they say he is ducking Cotto.

That was straight from the horses mouth.

I think that Floyd has changed a bit since that video. I think that you have seen more maturity, and a greater sense of purpose recently from Floyd, and *******s ought to give him credit. The sad part is, Floyd actively pursued Pacquiao making concessions and compromising along the way. Now he is looking to fight SSM who is a HOF if there ever was one.

Meanwhile Pacquiao is fighting a guy who lost to his most recent opponent. A guy who hasn't had a KO since 2004. You'd be a fool not to acknowledge the current difference in drive and/or challenge.
