So Pac signing to fight the next best welter after the breakdown of Pac-Mayweather (Shane being tied up with Berto, Margo suspended) is a ***** move?

If Pac is a ***** for fighting two top 5 welters in a row (after beating the best at 140), what does that makes Floyd not having fought any welters in 3 years when it has been the hottest division in boxing?

Hopefully Mosley beats Mayweather so we can have Pac-Mosley. What will the haters say then?

Nowhere did I say it was a ***** move. I personally have not been impressed by Joshua "Can't KO Anybody" Clottey, and by running away from the negotiating table leaving multiple lies and excuses in his wake, Pacquiao has lost a lot of respect in the eyes of many.

Remember, Floyd was retired for damned near 2 years. Before that he beat DLH at 154 and an undefeated Hatton. When you retire, are you going to report for work? Who did you want Floyd to fight? Margarito for 8 million when he could make more than double that fighting DLH or Hatton? Cotto who ducked Mayweather? Oh yeah, Floyd should have come out of retirement to face Clottey.

Now before you say PW, remember that Floyd fought DLH in May of 2007, and PW didn't beat Margarito til July. Prior to that PW's biggest name opponent was Sharmba Mitchell. So did PW deserve a shot in 2007? Hatton was a bigger name, a bigger payday, and people were building him up to be the Floyd slayer (kind of like they are with Pac now).

So who did he duck? Inactivity is Floyd's problem. Not quality of opponents, nor the desire to fight the best.

Yeah, Ali-LIston was a big deal too huh? I guess Liston was gonna whoop him anyway. What's the point of boxing then?

Dude that video was just months ago, not even a stale bread.

That was the video and when we believe it, it is held against us?

The JMM-PAC fight was more than 2 years ago and yet Pac is still held to the same standard as if Pac never improved?

The difference is that Floyd is left with no choice except to fight Mosley. Did he ever mentioned fighting Mosley before this fiasco, or even considered Mosley worth his time? All of a sudden, Schaefer announced the fight is in negotiation. Not a word from the usual boisterous Floyd to even state that he is fighting Mosley. Unusual!!!

I won't try to read between the lines and just accept the fact that Mayweather accepted this fight without reservation. However, can you blame anybody if they doubt it?????? Afterall, in a just world, everybody is presumed innocent until proven otherwise.

You are a Floyd supporter and if someone questions whether Floyd accepted this fight with doubt or reservation, would you be amazed?

Not at all. I genuinely believe that Floyd wants to fight the best. He wanted Mosley back in 2006. He said that he wanted to fight Mosley or DLH. Hell, he wanted Mosley back in the 90's but Mosley wanted nothing to do with him then either.

I know that he has made excuses, and that frustrated me too. But he made no excuses in the Pac negotiations. He went with everything, and even gave the 14-day cut-off. Can you honestly tell me that Floyd didn't surprise you there? Now as soon as Shane was available, the fight was/is being made. Do you honestly believe that Floyd was at home counting his money when he heard that Berto pulled out, and he thought, " Damn! Now I have to fight Mosley." How ridiculous is that? Floyd wants money. Mosley is money. Floyd wants to be recognized as the best. This helps his case.

Do you honestly think that Floyd is sitting at home scared? He could have taken a fight with Cintron or Collazo, or any lesser fighter, but I believe that he was waiting to announce a fight with Mosley. If he was really scared, or if he really wanted to face lesser competition, why didn't he? Because he was afraid of what the clowns on ESB would say? C'mon.

I really don't know how Floyd's mind work so I can not tell you. All of these are conjectural.

You rpobably know how Floyd mind works.

To assume that he is not affected by all the talks is reasonable if that's how you perceive him to be. However, for a proven egotistical person (floydettes relax because he is really egotistical), it runs against the grain to say that he is not affected.

Boils down to psychology and even the great ones have it. Once again, I am saying this as a conjecture, albeit based on sound reasoning.

I do believe that he has ego, but Floyd has already said that he does not fight for legacy so I don't think that he gives a damn what the people want. I think that he has wanted Shane a long time and now is his chance. He wanted to beat Pacquiao as well. That ego is what makes him want to be the best. The only difference is, Floyd doesn't want to prove it to everyone (legacy) I believe he wants to prove it to himself.

No doubt that as Manny started to rise and Floyd was at home watching Manny do his best Floyd imitation, that had to get under his skin. I think Floyd came back for 2 fights: Mosley and Pacquiao and I think that we're going to get them.

Nope, Pacquiao may have fought two of Floyd's past opponents but he never did any Floyd imitation. You may have used that as a figure of speech, but it was a very misleading choice of words.

I'm not sure they could get blood taken, send it off to get analyzed and get the results back all in 60 seconds to be honest.
