These will they wont they negotiations that end up going nowhere are killing boxing...

Pac vs Floyd is the only fight that casual fans want to see...Assuming rumors of the fighters being offered the largest purse in history are true, then WTF!! Boxing (paying fans) made them multi-millionaires. Give something back to the fans and the sport!!! Oh yeah, and while you are giving back to the sport and it's fans, please accept 40 mil for your effort...

Also, the BS with Heavyweight division pisses me off already!! Damn, you should have to beg the Klitschko's for a fight yet Haye, Povetkin and Valuev are DUCKING! As far as I am concerned Haye is just another contender and not a champion..If Povetkin fights Haye anytime soon that just proves he's too scared to be a fighter...Btw, I care more about the Fedor vs Werdum reamtch (MMA) then anything in Heavyweight boxing not involving a Klitschko.

    Dark times indeed for boxing..

Ive been thinking this lately but didnt want to post it.... but the truth is, boxing is getting pretty lame with this ****,

When i left a few weeks ago, it looked like Pac/May could be reached..... Wlad/Haye had fallen through but Povetkin was an acceptable second, ect, ect....

I come back and its Pac/Margarito???? Wlad/Peter??????? what kind of **** is this?

I dont know.... im just getting a bit tired of it all to be honest.

    Pac/May
    Wlad/Haye
    Adamek/Haye
    Adamek/Povetkin
    Wlad/Povetkin
    Haye/Povetkin
    Vitali/Valuev
    Bradley/Alexander
    Bradley/Khan
    Alexander/Khan

is just a sample of some big fights between top fighters in their weightclass that arent happening.

If the best arent going to fight the best then wtf is the point? Just getting a bit sick of all the BS i guess.

Well, let's just say that now that the Pac/Floyd fan seems a no-go the boards on ESB are looking interesting again. There's actual discussion about other boxers and upcoming fights rather than being drowned in the crap of the last year. Negotiations aren't killing boxing but not holding fighters to public demand is.

And, other than your aversion to him, in what sense exactly is Money Mayweather to be blamed for Klitschko / Haye and several other prime matchups not happening?

Whats destroying the sport is the people, naive "fans" through the money. Smart people like DLH and Arum are making these fake fights with big names and hyping it up through fake drama. They know theres alot of suckers that buy into their illusions generating huge amounts of money, enough for them and enough to buy the fighters. When people wake up and stop buying into their game maybe it will return to the true sport.

Imagine if the defending champion Lakers didnt want to play the Celtics, Instead in the NBA finals they play the Clippers and New York Knicks. This is what is happening in boxing why must we suffer.

It's pretty f---ing bad right now for sure... A couple years ago, things seemed to be getting better... WTF happened???? Thank god for the Super 6, or nobody would be fighting each other ffs!

    Pac/May
    Wlad/Haye.
    Wlad/Povetkin.
    Vitali/Valuev.
    Vitali/Solis.
    Martinez/Williams.
    Darchinyan/Donair.
    Juanma/Gamboa/Caballero.
    Bradley/Alexander.
    Mosley/Berto.

And on and on it goes... WTF?

Spend your cash watching guys like Froch, Pascal, AA, Cotto...etc..... who will face anyone, anytime, anywhere and give the fans their moneys worth.

Any boxing promoter looking at this forum would think "**** me, look at all the attention they have got with all this bull****, must give this a go"

The problem is that it's the fans suffering the most because of the negotiations crap because we are robbed of seeing the fights that need to happen.

More like TopRank is killing boxing.

If Pacquiao wasn't with TopRank Bob Arum,we would have been counting down the days for the fight with Mayweather Jr and Pac.

Arum doesn't give two sh!ts if a fight with Pac and May ever gets made.

Leave it up to Arum, and we will be seeing a Cotto match up next with the Pacquiao vs Margo winner.
