Arturo Gatti was a ****ing beast in that game. If they took away that "parrying" ****, Gatti would've got torn to bits. FNR3 was easy as ****, too. Jeff Lacy sucked ****, it was easy to take RJJ or Toney and **** him up. But they need to scrap that parrying ****.
Not a straight right hand you can't. Anyway that whole game was too pre scripted, it had no flow to speak of. You'd always hit them in the same place every single time.
The parrying was straight ****ing bull****. And why the **** was Floyd Patterson so slow? I don't think those EA boys did much research.
Another thing that sucked was that a super haymaker from a featherweight could knock down Ali. And it almost always connects to the chest because the featherweights are so much shorter.
EA really has to adjust for fighter weights. I don't see how Micky Ward can just parry a punch from Joe Frazier like it's nothing. Of course the little guys are faster but it should be adjusted so that when the heavyweight lands a punch, it takes like 1/4 of the smaller fighter's power.
why if you master that **** you are untouchable in RD 2 i use to parry hit a haye maker of the right hand in the south paw stance and folow it up with a burst. or just hit the haye maker upper cut and get the ko or sudden KNock down:yep
This Haye **** is getting old and real quick.. I'd rather hear the joyboy fans claim Mayweather to be the greatest than anymore of this Haye ****.. But to the topic, FNR3 was kinda' shitty.. I can beat any fighter in the game with Pacquiao and I mean anybody.. What I really didn't like is how they made Duran so shitty and Lacy so ****ing beast.. One punch from him and your health bar goes down by half, I mean damn..And what's with those ****ing hayemakers?
the overall gameplay was just too slow. also the knockdowns werent fun like in fight night 2004 where you can throw combos at your opponent when he's on the ground.
I agree this is why Holyfield is so slow... you can see his punches coming. They need to create the Evander Holyfield when he had hair. Plus Holyfield can't even counter on that game and we know he was a great counter puncher.
